  • Well, another fact is that the 93 year old probably does the same. I, however, am an Morse code highspeeder, and can hold a continous conversation for hours on end at a speed of 50 words per minute. That is approx 250 characters a minute. If I also start using all the Morse abbreviations (yes, the same as you use in SMS, they originate from morse) I am willing to bet quite a bit that I can beat any of you. Do not forget that there are very many extremely good morse operators, and not all of then are 93 with a shaky hand. I am 26, and far from an elite operator.
  • However, reading the linked article, she used to send lots more messages until she ran out of credit...
