    A good martini is worth the trouble... if you order one in a bar that doesn't usually make them, they'll come out terrible. Then it's like, why did I pay $13 for this?

    Never made a martini before, but I bought martini glasses when I worked at Ford Motor Company, put regular water in it with two olives, and proudly walked through the plant to see if anyone would stop me. No one ever did. I retired after thirty-two and a half years in February of '06. I am trying my first real martini now with your help, It's a developed taste, but I have the feeling I'm going to stick to a few a day. It will undoubtably cut down on my drinking, and I think that would be a good thing; I'm diabetic. Thanks, Sam Scalici
