I tried switching back to the old Facebook, but I still got the same error. The only way I found through this error was to type the person's name in the search bar, and send them a message when I found them in the large list of people which appeared.

i started getting the same messages on facebook after it switched to the "new facebook". I swtiched back to the old version, and all is okay now. I think its a facebook issue.

I seem to have the same issue, and ironically on the same day, so it must be a more widespread issue.

I am using Firefox 3 on Ubuntu v4.10 (Linux)

Facebook seems to be the only site to have this issue for me.... I was actually wondering if it has anything to do with my JAVA package, due to being an AJAX error....
