  We pay bloggers the first 100$, then they get 40% after that. We also pay channel editors 10% of everything the blogs under them make, we have intern positions and we have a bunch of work that people bring to our bloggers which supplements their income quite nicely (last month, we paid out equally for b5 content and for contract content).
  
  That said, we're still working on our payment model. Something simpler would be nice, but with 80 blogs and 40 bloggers it's difficult to change things midstream without gobs of cash.

  Sorry, I should note that most of our bloggers are makign between 100-200$/month at this point (2 months into this little business). We're hoping that'll be closer to 500$/month by the spring.

  Good Post....On other note, I'm looking for a writer for my blog. Do you have any recommendation on the cost for this type of service or if there is a Job board for bloggers?
